Environmental

Mirius™ recognise the need to make sustainability a intrinsic part of our business. You can be confident that our products all come from legal, ethical and sustainable sources. That’s why over 80% of our bottle packaging can be 100% recycled. Our hope is that by creating a circular economy, where waste is converted back into usable products, it will help to reduce the pressure on the worlds natural resources. Mirius™ is committed to transitioning to 100% recycled plastic bottles by 2025.

Corporate Responsibility

At Mirius™ we are keenly aware that our business activity has a direct and indirect impact on the environment. We embrace our responsibility to set an example of Corporate Environmental Stewardship. We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment through all levels of the business by utilising sustainable technologies and working practices wherever possible and we work hard to use our influence to encourage suppliers and assist customers to do the same. So, rather than listing hollow ‘commitments’ so often found in corporate literature, here are just some examples of what we are doing right now.

  • We measure the environmental performance of our business in terms of fuel, energy, water, resource consumption, waste management and work hard to improve our performance annually.
  • We undertake regular energy audits of in our head office and implement energy saving initiatives.
  • We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions and many of our fleet cars are now hybrid vehicles.
